Job Description

Epoq (www.epoq.co.uk) is the UK’s leading provider of online legal services. By utilising cutting-edge document automation technology, integrated workflow systems and content, together with legal advice and document review, we enable banks, insurers and law firms to deliver legal services to their consumer and business clients. Our services include "intelligent" legal documents such as wills, divorce forms, employment agreements and tenancy contracts over the web. Our systems draft tens of thousands of documents every year.

The role

We seek a qualified solicitor or advocate (including non-practising) to review our range of online legal precedents and law guides. You’ll need to suggest alterations to ensure they comply with Scottish law, and to help notify us when that law changes.

We seek a qualified solicitor or advocate (including non-practising). Ideally you’ll have at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in private practice. We’re looking for people with experience of drafting documents – e.g. wills, commercial contracts, residential landlord issues, or else working in a PSL role with exposure to this type of content.

Good IT skills are essential, especially MS Word.

This is a highly flexible role: you’ll be working from home for, on average, around 15 hours a week. These can usually be worked in any way that suits you.

Package to £50,000 (pro rata) depending on experience. To apply, send us your CV by clicking on the 'Apply' button below - use ‘Content lawyer (Scotland)’ as the subject.
