Our Client is a leading UK law firm headquartered in Scotland, known for its diverse workforce and commitment to excellence. Due to continued growth they are now recruiting for an experienced Paralegal to support the Corporate team.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Company Secretarial Program: Manage day-to-day requirements.
  • Statutory Registers: Maintain and update company books.
  • Companies House Filings: Draft and lodge filings.
  • Company Incorporation: Handle new company formations.
  • Board Minutes and Resolutions: Prepare necessary documents.
  • Database Maintenance: Keep client information accurate and up to date.
  • Client Contact: Act as the first point of contact for clients.
  • Third-Party Interaction: Deal with external parties professionally.
  • Client Intake: Follow identification and anti-money laundering procedures.
  • Fee Notes and Invoices: Draft and process invoices.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist with various legal tasks as needed.
  • Information Security: Adhere to security policies to protect information.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Knowledge of Companies Act 2006 and statutory filing requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft applications; familiarity with Diligent Entities, DMS (iManage), and Aderant is a plus.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Team Player: Works well independently and within a team.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and proactive approach to work.
  • Legislation Knowledge: Willing to stay updated on company legislation.
  • Personal Attributes: Demonstrates core values of integrity, care, and collaboration.
