As a newly qualified Dispute Resolution Solicitor with a top-tier firm in Scotland, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients involved in international and national disputes across all sectors

Job Description

You will handle a wide range of contentious matters, including litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR), with a focus on resolving complex disputes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile cases and collaborate with international teams within a reputable law firm.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior solicitors and partners in managing a caseload of dispute resolution matters
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
  • Provide high-quality legal advice to clients on dispute resolution strategies and potential outcomes
  • Advise clients on settlement options and negotiate favorable terms on their behalf
  • Stay abreast of legal developments, trends, and precedents in dispute resolution
  • Support business development activities, including client meetings, pitches, and proposals
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives, such as writing articles, delivering presentations, or participating in conferences
  • Seek opportunities for professional growth and actively participate in continuing professional development (CPD) activities
