International law firm are looking for NQs to join its Tier 1 Corporate & Finance practice. They are keen to hear from Summer-qualifying solicitors who are due to be admitted in Scotland. A prior seat in Corporate or Banking is not required – my client are happy to hear from those who wish to develop a career in corporate law.
This team is recognised as a leading adviser in Corporate transactions, and the role will involve a balanced corporate & finance practice spanning M&A, Private Equity, Corporate Finance and Corporate Structuring.
What Makes this Role Unique?
It combines top-tier work and training not found anywhere else.
This Firm do not demand applicants have impeccable academics, and do not carry out psychometric testing as part of their interview process – they are much more focussed on applicants with a personality that will align with this friendly and supportive team.
This Firm’s Corporate practice is unique in that it is fully integrated corporate practice, allowing Junior Associates to gain exposure to corporate work spanning M&A, Private Equity, Corporate Advisory and Structuring work and Corporate Finance. This makes the role perfect for both Associates that are looking to develop a balanced corporate practice or those who perhaps are not quite sure at this stage where they would like to specialise (and perfect for those with no prior corporate experience).
This Firm’s training and development of its Junior Associates is widely regarded as best in class. Your career development is carefully managed by a Training Partner – all of whom are regarded as leaders in their field - and many of the Junior Associates that have trained here have either gone on to become Partner or have moved to leading US and Magic Circle Firms in London as mid-level Associates.
Exceptional Culture – this Firm has a very low attrition rate amongst its Junior Associates and does not lateral Partners – the vast majority of its Partners started at the Firm as Junior Associates.
Corporate NQ opportunities are exceptionally rare in this market, so if this role sounds of interest, please contact Dominic Roberts in confidence at dominic.roberts@qedlegal.com or on (+44) 7857 439 641
