We are currently working on an opportunity for an NQ contentious construction solicitor to join this successful firms Property and Infrastructure Disputes team, based in Edinburgh. The team’s construction disputes expertise is vast and includes the following areas: infrastructure, civil engineering, utilities, waste-water, transport, energy, renewables, flood prevention schemes, commercial, domestic, PFI/PPP, and professional negligence. The role will involve advising on issues relating to construction and engineering contracts, advising in construction disputes in the Court of Session, Sheriff Court, and the Technology and Construction Court, and advising and representing throughout the UK in adjudications, mediations, arbitrations and expert determinations.
The ideal candidate for this role should have experience in contentious construction and strong drafting skills. Candidates with commercial litigation and property litigation experience who have a genuine interest in this area would be considered.
