This award winning large law firm has an exciting opportunity for an experienced litigation and motor recovery Solicitor to assist in the management of its motor recoveries team.

Job Description

This award winning large law firm has an exciting opportunity for an experienced litigation and motor recovery Solicitor to assist in the management of its motor recoveries team.  Acting for large insurer clients, this role specialises in litigation based motor recovery, non-personal injury work, assisting in the recovery of outlay, ULR and credit hire claims whilst also working to drive the overall performance through effective management of a team of paralegals.

You will be managing your own caseload of motor recovery, ULR and/or credit hire files, the supervision element of the role will see you manage a team of recoveries case handlers; monitoring and motivating them to achieve targets and SLAs.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ PQE and should have experience dealing with litigated and non-litigated motor recovery cases, motivated by a career in litigation and management.  Effective supervisory skills are essential as you will be able to work proactively to tight deadlines under pressure, whilst motivating others to do the same.

This firm supports agile working and so the post could be Glasgow or Edinburgh based, with remote / work from home options.
