During the Traineeship you will spend six months in each of the four departments - Private Client, Court, Residential Property and Commercial Law. Applications are invited from graduates in Scots Law (or an equivalent Honours Degree in other subjects, combined with a degree in Scots Law) who have obtained, or expect to obtain, a Diploma in Legal Practice from a Scottish University and an entrance certificate from the Law Society of Scotland before their anticipated start date in September 2020.
Salary will be as recommended by the Law Society of Scotland which at present is:-
Year One — £19,000 Year Two — £22,000

Steps in the recruitment process and key dates
*Applicants may be asked to make a 10 minute presentation on a specific area of law (given in advance) with 5 minutes of follow up questions. A general 45 minute interview will then follow. Applicants will also have the opportunity to tour the offices and speak to current trainees and staff.
