Job Description

Your role will be to assist the Head of Legal Services in the effective management of all Legal Services activities and the provision of a comprehensive range of legal services to the Police Service of Scotland (Police Scotland) and, as may be required from time to time, to the Scottish Police Authority (SPA), and to deputise for the Head of Legal Services in their absence.

The successful candidate will support effective delivery of legal services by providing legal and strategic advice to the Chief Constable and Senior Management of Police Scotland.

You will execute legal work, including that of a complex or important nature; and manage the day to day running of the Legal Services Department.

This full time post is permanent and will require Management Vetting. You will work 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm.
