This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in shaping how the firm manages client relations, maintains regulatory compliance, and upholds high professional standards across all areas of practice.
The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for all complaints – client and non-client – ensuring these are handled efficiently. Key responsibilities will include leading collaborative investigations, identifying trends and areas for improvement, monitoring regulatory changes, liaising with bodies such as the Law Society of Scotland and SLCC, and supporting the delivery of training across the firm. The role also includes contributing to policy development and overseeing a small team within the wider compliance function.
Applicants should be a Scottish qualified lawyer, and have a solid understanding of the regulatory landscape in Scotland and demonstrable experience in complaint handling, legal compliance, or professional standards—ideally gained within a legal or regulated environment. Leadership experience is desirable, though not essential for candidates ready to step into a people management role. This is a full-time role that can be based in Glasgow or another flexible location, with hybrid working and a wide-ranging benefits package.
If this role is of interest, please do not hesitate to contact either Cameron or Teddie for an initial and confidential discussion. (Assignment 17282)
