Job Description

We are delighted to have been instructed on this newly created role with our client, a well-established organisation within the energy sector. The Legal & Compliance team currently has a need for a Legal Counsel to join the company’s office in Stirling. You will handle a wide range of commercial contracts matters and tasks will include:

  • Reviewing and analysing business contracts.
  • Collaborating with the Compliance Manager on integration of policies.
  • Handling legal issues from disputes and litigation through to property, intellectual property, and insurance matters.

To be considered for this position, you should be a qualified solicitor at the 2-4 years PQE level and have had previous exposure to commercial contracts and construction law, preferably within an in-house environment. Hybrid working opportunities are available with an expectation of at least 2 days per week office presence. This role will open wider opportunities within the company allowing the individual to grow and develop their legal career within this area.
