Job Description

Our client, a specialist defender-insurance practice with offices throughout the UK, is seeking an additional lawyer to join its growing team. Ideally you should be at the NQ-3 years’ PQE level. This role is ideal for NQ candidates who have gained a strong traineeship in defender insurance litigation. With new clients and an increasing workload, the role has opportunities for progression, combined with the security of joining a team who are highly regarded in the Scottish insurance litigation market.

In addition to your own caseload we will ensure you have exposure to all aspects of life in a busy defender insurance practice, and undertake a wide range of legal activities, including drafting, assisting with investigations, taking witness statements and attending court. You will also work closely with senior lawyers on more complex and high value matters.

They are particularly interested in applicants with a defender background, who have worked in a specialist defender insurance practice. If you would like to discuss this opportunity further, please contact Teddie or Cameron.(Assignment 11918)
