Job Description

This organisation is looking for an Interim Legal Manager for their Glasgow based International organisation.  The role will involve assisting the Head of Legal and working closely with the sales teams, global and regional procurement teams and business functions to support their activities and advise on commercial, legal, compliance, governance and regulatory issues.

Your responsibilities will include:-

  • Support in commercial and contractual negotiations with customers and suppliers, including drafting and review of: non-disclosure agreements, customer/supplier drafted contracts, rental contracts and tenders, procurement contracts and tenders, service level agreements, warranty documents and performance guarantees.
  • Advice and support on the deployment of suitable rental and procurement contract types, including: framework agreements, master service agreements, product development agreements, consignment stock agreements and standard T&Cs.
  • Provide guidance to commercial, sales and procurement teams on the organisations standard documents.
  • Managing the relationship with external lawyers when specific expertise is required.

This is a temporary role for a minimum period of 3 months.  The successful candidate will require to be available at short notice.  Candidates who are either English or Scottish qualified with at least 5 years’ pqe in commercial law, which includes commercial contracts, corporate, TMT, projects or energy.  Candidates will be considered on a full time or part-time basis and flexible working is available if beneficial to the successful candidate.   If this position interests you, please get in touch with Cameron or Frasia for an initial and confidential discussion.  (Assignment 12455)
