Our client, a global engineering and manufacturing organisation, is seeking an interim global trade compliance manager, to join for a period of 3-6 months. This role is based in Glasgow, however applications from those seeking remote working will be considered. The position has responsibility for the development and implementation of the Company’s trade compliance program on a global basis. It also supports the operational and commercial business teams to advise them of applicability of and changes in relevant export/import laws and regulations.
Applicants should have solid knowledge and experience of export and import laws and regulations. (U.S., European and UK) as well as trade compliance experience. Experience of conducting trade compliance training and executing trade compliance audit programs is essential.
