Job Description

Are you a personal injury solicitor, on either the pursuer or defendant side and considering a career in insurance litigation?

If so, then please do read on.

QED Legal's client, a firm we have worked incredibly closely with over the last few years shaping their Glasgow office has a requirement for two solicitors in their expanding and incredibly tight-knit teams.

At present. my client has a requirement within both their motor and casualty teams for solicitors with between the 1 and 3 year PQE mark, but going forward can offer exposure to multiple areas of the insurance sphere including high profile historic abuse claims.

Whilst some roles within both insurance and personal injury can funnel you down a particular path, this role does not carry those characteristics. You will enjoy the mentoring of Partners and associates that have helped multiple solicitors expand into areas they previously had little or no experience of.

Both salaries and benefits can only be described as top end as are the chances for progression, with associates currently on route to Partner and solicitors advancing to associate level.

I have watched this firm go strength to strength over the last five years, expanding into new markets, carrying out some exceptional client wins and all whilst creating a down to earth, collegiate, ethos and atmosphere. I can honestly say this is an office without egos.

Flexible working is entirely possible, with many members of the team attending the office only one day per week, whilst others enjoy more. Regardless of your level of seniority the choice is yours going forward as to what you find preferable.
