Job Description

Fantastic opportunity to join this global maintenance services organisation based in Aberdeen.  They are currently recruiting a Legal Counsel to provide specialised legal advice, all within rules and legislation and (commercial) objectives and policies of the organisation, in order to minimise legal risks and to optimise the global legal position of organisation in line with its business interest.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and reporting risks and propose mitigating actions
  • Assist during negotiations
  • Match legal risks with insurance policies
  • Monitor and control legal policy (risks) during development, negotiation and execution of contract (internal & external)
  • Create and promote legal awareness in the organisation
  • Managing the overall contracting process for the benefit of executing projects and long term service contracts
  • Review, drafting and negotiate contracts in line with company policies and requirements

To be considered for this role you should have between 3 – 5 years’ pqe and commercial contracts experience, although they are open to seeing more experienced candidates.  Also an experienced contracts specialist would be considered.   A competitive salary and benefits package is of offer.  Although this position is based in Aberdeen, they do offer flexible working therefore are keen to hear from candidates across the country.  If this position interests you, please get in touch with Frasia or Cameron for an initial and confidential discussion.  (Assignment 12429)
