Exceptional new in-house position for a senior level commercial lawyer to join the in-house legal team of an award-winning UK Bank- role will be based in Edinburgh however, flexible working arrangements will also be considered

Job Description

 

You will provide commercial legal advice to the Bank (with a focus on commercial contracts) which will include advising on:

  • Project Management;
  • Commercial Contracts/Agreements;
  • Existing Contractual Relationships;
  • Supplier Agreements;
  • Insurance;
  • Outsourcing Agreements;
  • Debt & Asset Sale;
  • EU/Competition.

Additionally, you will work closely with different departments ensuring that you are providing the best legal support an advising on legal risk. 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Circa 10+ years PQE and with a strong commercial background- experience of commercial contracts would be essential for this role.
  • Candidates with commercial backgrounds from In-House or Private Practice are invited to apply. 
  • Excellent 'people management' skills and an ability to work effectively with stakeholders within the business. 
  • Strong communication skills.
