This organisation is currently looking to recruit a Legal Advisor to be based in Aberdeen.

Job Description

This organisation is currently looking to recruit a Legal Advisor to be based in Aberdeen.  You will provide legal advice and support various divisions and business areas in the company.  Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing legal advice and support to business development activities including the formation of new companies and joint-ventures
  • Supporting and advising on operational and other issues that arise during project execution
  • Supporting and assisting on all M&A activity including conduct of legal due diligence
  • Work with all other relevant group functions including Compliance, Audit, HR, Finance, Treasury, Insurance, Tax, Company Secretariat

The ideal candidate should have relevant pqe experience in one or more of the following areas and a genuine desire to be an in-house lawyer:  

  • Contentious or non-contentious construction/engineering contracts
  • Commercial contract drafting
  • Onshore/Offshore oil & gas contracts for construction, engineering, maintenance, operations (e.g. FPSOs, installations)
  • Corporate
