Funds Solicitor (NQ-5)

Job Description

Joining a highly skilled Funds team who act for fund managers on a full range of investment funds work, including - fund structuring, formation and investment work with a focus on key sectors including real estate, energy, infrastructure, debt and buy-out funds, your responsibilities will include (not an exhaustive list);

• Advising on various matters relating to the establishment of, and investing in, private investment funds
• Drafting constitutional documentation of funds including limited partnership agreements, unit trust deeds and shareholder agreements
• Negotiating fund documentation with investors and dealing with side letter requests
• Dealing with offshore law firms and administrators
• Negotiating with fund counsel when acting for investors and ideally when acting for UK pension funds
• Discussing new funds with both start-up and experienced managers
