This is a great role where you will have the opportunity to hone your skills and develop your career within family law.
Working as part of a small, friendly team with a widely respected Partner you will manage your own caseload of family law matters.
Working predominantly on legal aid cases your caseload will include general family law matters such as divorce, separation, contact & residency and adoption together with advising on child law which shall include: appearing at court and at Children’s Hearings.
You must have the ability to empathise and be capable of dealing with cases sensitively.
The role will involve a lot of court work, candidates with strong court experience are highly desirable.
Applications are invited from candidates who are newly qualified up to 2 and half years . Those who are newly qualified must have specialised within family law during their traineeship
This role is based in the city centre but currently working from home, there shall be some flexibility going forward post COVID. You may also be asked to travel to to other courts outside of the city centre when hearings cease to be held virtually.
