We have an exciting vacancy for a qualified Solicitor to join our legal team. The right candidate should have broad general experience in Employment Law matters – reviewing and drafting policies, providing advice on HR, ER and legal matters, preparing and negotiating settlement agreements, and preferably with experience in preparing cases and apprearing at Employment Tribunals. Our team also provide training for our members companies in HR and Employment Law topics, so experience would also be an advantage.
Scottish Engineering are an employers’ association who represent and support the Engineering and Manufacturing sector, mainly in Scotland. As part of that support, we offer our members additional services. Our HR and Employment law team has three solicitors and one HR adviser, who together offer telephone and on site support in all HR and Employment Law matters. The solicitors provide advice and representation for Employment Tribunal claims, acting for our members companies. Our offices are in central Glasgow, though travel to our member companies is a requirement so a driving licence is preferrable.
