They are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced disease Solicitor to join their team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload of disease-related claims and will have the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigator looking to specialise in disease-related cases.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of disease-related claims, including but not limited to asbestos-related diseases, industrial deafness, respiratory diseases and occupational cancers
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents and prepare pleadings
- Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients
- Collaborate with senior solicitors and partners on complex litigation matters
- Attend court hearings, conferences and mediations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, medical experts and other relevant parties
Previous litigation experience is required, preferably with exposure to disease-related claims – however, this is not essential. If you have a genuine interest in disease-related cases and a desire to develop expertise in this area of law, this could be the opportunity for you.
