Top tier firm with a network of offices located Scotland wide, has an immediately opening for an experienced Data Protection Solicitor to join their award winning team.
The team, are specialist experts in data protection, privacy and compliance and provide advice to a range of clients from small tech companies to large corporate and public bodies in relation to data protection.
The firm also offers a fully outsourced data protection services to their clients, with growing demand for these services, this newly created position for a Data Protection Solicitor to join their team, will assist with the growing practice.
Our client promotes a hybrid working approach allowing a blend of working at home as well as in the office.
For this role, the successful candidate can be based in any of the firms Scottish Offices.
You will support the wider team in working with clients across a broad range of sectors including technology, healthcare, research & development, retail, education, professional services and beyond.
You will draft and negotiate data processing agreements and data sharing agreements.
You will assist with data protection audits and data protection impact assessments, analysing risks with a commercial outlook and making practical recommendations.
You will also draft privacy notices, cookie notices and data protection related policies; research complex data protection issues and assist clients processing freedom of information, subject access and all other data subject requests.
