Job Description

This award-winning firm are currently recruiting a solicitor to join its corporate team.  The ideal candidate should have between 2-6 years’ pqe and have strong corporate experience.  You will provide legal advice relating to corporate and commercial law, investment funds, general financial services, insurance and reinsurance.  Some of your key duties will include:

  • Providing legal services to clients, under the supervision of partners and/or senior associates. This will include researching, drafting, negotiating and advising on various legal matters.
  • Getting involved in a range of know-how initiatives.
  • Being an ambassador – selling the firms services and promoting the brand through business development activities.
  • Maintaining system based filing systems to ensure all documents are stored appropriately.
  • Proactively manage own budget to ensure timely billings/collections.
  • Adhering to all policies, procedures and regulations as required.
  • Taking responsibility for a wide range of tasks/projects as required by the partners in the group.
