Job Description

Our client’s high profile corporate team, known for its innovation and quality of clients and staff has created a new role for a corporate lawyer.  You will be assisting as part of an experienced and supportive team to advise a spectrum of clients from high profile blue chip listed public companies to smaller commercial organisations on a wide range of corporate related matters.

Joining the highly regarded corporate team of this international firm brings the opportunity to experience UK wide and international transactions across key industry sectors with a great deal of client contact and responsibility.

 Your role will include the following:-

  • Corporate aspects of mergers, acquisitions, reorganisations and joint ventures
  • Fundraisings and IPOs
  • Commercial contracts, including high value strategic arrangements
  • Listed company matters
  • Private equity investments
  • Deal and project management
  • Corporate governance, regulatory and advisory work
  • Providing efficient professional support for partners
  • Developing professional relationships with clients
  • Supporting the wider team in developing business and raising profile of the firm
  • Involvement in marketing events
  • Managing/supervising the work of others including junior lawyers and trainees

 About you:-

To meet the needs of the role, you will have an appropriate level of post qualification experience (they anticipate approximately 2-5 years) in a leading law firm.  The ability to communicate succinctly with clients with good humour is essential, as are excellent drafting skills and the ability to translate legal theory into practical advice.
