Our client is currently recruiting a Junior Solicitor to join its Employment Team.

Job Description

Our client is currently recruiting a Junior Solicitor to join its Employment Team.  The team advice finance directors, HR teams, Global Mobility teams and in-house employment lawyers of major UK and international companies to navigate the UK's complex immigration rules.  Some of your duties will include:

  • sponsor licence applications and compliance (including compliance audits);
  • the sponsorship management system;
  • immigration obligations triggered in corporate transactions and exercises;
  • sponsorship and visa applications under all Tiers of the Points Based System (including sponsorship under Tier 4);
  • European free movement rights and related applications;
  • settlement and citizenship applications;
  • preparing and delivering immigration compliance training to clients;
  • visa applications for high net-worth individuals and representatives of overseas businesses; and
  • the prevention of illegal working (including responding to enforcement action).

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you should have between 1 – 3 years’ pqe gained in corporate immigration law.  Experience of advising on related employment risks in immigration situations, including unfair dismissal and discrimination claims, and immigration litigation would be beneficial.  If this position interests you, please get in touch with Teddie or Robert for an initial and confidential discussion.  (Assignment 13064)
