Job Description

Eden's Scotts client is one of Scotland's leading commercial law firms who work with a variety of clients in all key sectors. They are currently looking for a Conveyancing Paralegal to join their busy real estate team. 
 
It is essential that the successful candidate has previous experience in processing conveyancing transactions in a similar role. Additionally, the candidate should be able to demonstrate the required excellent organisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure juggling a busy and varied workload. 
 
The role itself will support and work closely with the fee earners within the real estate department and will be under the supervision of the Partner. The duties of the role include the completion of all LBTT and registration forms required pre and post-exchange and completions, undertaking searches and processing Land Registry fees. Additionally, the candidate will be dealing with correspondence between solicitors, lenders and clients and will be expected to prepare client fee notes. General administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, opening new client files, arranging meetings and preparing legal documents will also be required. 
The role allows for working both independently and as part of a team and the candidate will have the opportunity to provide support in a wide range of transactions.
