Are you an experienced, or aspiring, contentious construction solicitor searching for a new, or possibly your first, assistant solicitor role in the Edinburgh or Glasgow areas?

Job Description

Are you an experienced, or aspiring, contentious construction solicitor searching for a new, or possibly your first, assistant solicitor role in the Edinburgh or Glasgow areas?

QED Legal's client, one of UK's leading contentious construction teams has a newly created opening for an assistant solicitor with at least a six month seat, but preferably up to three years, in a dispute resolution setting to bolster their increasingly busy team in either city centre Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Do you have a desire to work alongside some of the most respected solicitors in this field, noted repeatedly over the years in the Legal 500?

You will enjoy an unparalleled caseload of commercial litigation matters related directly to construction disputes. Even at assistant level you be heavily involved in large scale contentious disputes, assisting a Partner and a number of associates with a client list that is nothing short of stellar.

This is a firm renowned for recognising the efforts of solicitors even from an early stage in their qualified career and one that has an excellent track record of consistent career progression for those willing to go the extra mile.

Whilst it must be difficult to move away from already great quality work at your current firm, opportunities like this are few and far between so I would genuinely suggest that it is worth contacting me to hear additional details.

Progression opportunities are tangible, with the department in Scotland recently having been formed by a lateral hire. Work flow is busy, but not overblown.

All calls are confidential and of course there is no obligation to apply for the role should it not align completely with what you are looking for.

For additional information please contact Neil Campbell at QED Legal via the details provided.
