A top national firm is looking for solicitors to join their Property and Infrastructure Disputes team in Edinburgh.
The Firm & Team
- Top tier work
- Busy and broad practice with a focus on the energy sector
- The team are regularly instructed to advise on a variety of matters including civil engineering, oil and gas, commercial developments
- The team are encouraged to get involved in business development
The Role
- Advise contractors and employers on issues relating to construction and engineering contracts
- Advise clients in construction disputes in the Court of Succession, Sheriff Court and the Technology and Construction court
- Advise and represent clients in Adjudications, Mediations, Arbitrations and Expert Determinations
The Candidate
- NQ - 2 years PQE
- Ideally some experience in contentious construction
- Strong analytical and drafting skills
- Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and be willing to work as part of a team
