Job Description

Our client is currently looking to recruit a talented contentious construction lawyers (NQ - 6 years’) to join the Scottish team in Scotland.  This candidate will have a strong grounding in contentious construction work but a newly qualified with exposure to commercial litigation, insurance litigation or property litigation with a real desire to specialise in this area will be considered.

You will work with an impressive range of private and public sector clients.  The Construction group act primarily across the Infrastructure and Energy the sectors in e.g. energy (renewables, conventional and oil and gas)

The role will be focused on construction dispute work using all forms of dispute resolution (including adjudications, Alternative Dispute Resolution, arbitration, international arbitration and litigation) for its range of clients.

Candidates must be technically excellent.  It is important that the candidate is commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development.  You should have real ambition and be a team player with a strong client focused approach. You should also have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills.
