To support the Global Head of Conflicts and Senior Conflicts Lawyer in ensuring effective compliance controls and procedures are in place particularly those involving the avoidance of conflicts of interest and protection of confidential information, and to ensure compliance with applicable legislative requirements and management of risk.
A Conflicts Analyst should aim to become proficient with the following core compliance processes:
Conflict of Interest Checking Process
Matter management, including matter opening and assessing compliance with Scottish and UK Law Society rules, Code and guidance
Handles conflicts of interest matters
Handles high volume conflict searches
Handles low to medium complexity protection of confidential information issues
Involved in leading commercial clearances across offices
Reviews and adheres to internal compliance policies and procedures.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to interact positively at all levels within the firm and a good team player
Able to demonstrate excellent client/customer facing skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills; can clearly explain and present problems and issues to others and contribute to their resolution
Methodical approach to work; takes an efficient and organised approach to dealing with administration
Able to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines
