This role will see you take on the responsibility to ensure this hugely successful legal 500 private practice remains fully compliant and up to date with changes in legislation and process.
With a particular focus on client onboarding you will have a wide and varied role which shall include amongst others:
Analysing high risk factors such as PEP involvement, state ownership, complex structures, high risk jurisdictions (including EU high-risk third countries) and sanctions information
Advise on enhanced due diligence, ongoing monitoring requirements, any specific CDD requirements and give best practice advice to Partners and other Fee Earners
Undertake verification checks
Prepare and review risk assessments
Draft Suspicious Activity Reports
Escalate any concerns to Compliance Manager & MLRO
It is likely you shall have a minimum of 2 years' previous proven experience working within compliance ideally within a legal setting and shall be someone who has a meticulous eye for detail. is highly organised and have excellent communication skills.
