You will join a fantastic team and have excellent exposure to high quality matters and work alongside some of the most respected people in the field.
Offering real progression prospects and a collaborative working environment, this competition solicitor opportunity should be considered by anybody looking to take the next step in their career.
You will be responsible for advising in a range of sectors for a variety of clients (including central government, local authority, utilities, private sector and funders) on transactional procurement procedure support, input to procurement “structuring” within the applicable regulatory framework, procurement challenge work and provision of training to clients. You will also be involved in providing support in relation to advising clients on subsidy control in the UK and EU State aid rules in Northern Ireland and the EU as well as the opportunity to work on international trade law (new UK trade remedies regime, WTO regime) - a new area of growth for the team post-Brexit.
If you are a NQ solicitor, you will ideally have completed a seat in a procurement, subsidy control or competition and have gained a sound level of understanding within these areas of law as well as being able to demonstrate a genuine interest in procurement and subsidies law.
The successful candidate will be commercially minded and confident in developing relationships with all stakeholders and enjoy participating in business development activities.
