Communication Executive (Digital)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications professional with a flair for all things digital to join the Law Society of Scotland to cover a period of maternity leave up to 12 months.

We are seeking a motivated, dynamic, creative and high performing professional with experience across communications and engagement, who will bring their skills and expertise to help us evolve our digital communications and engagement outcomes and impacts.

Key Responsibilities for this role:

The Digital Communications Executive reports in to the Head of Communications and is a central role within a busy communications team with a wide and varied remit. The team is responsible for maximising engagement with a range of audiences from colleagues, members and our governing Council and committees to the media, public and parliamentarians. This role is key to ensuring that we get the best value from our digital channels - social media, mass email and our website – advising on best practice, developing strategy and content, implementing communications plans, and using data and insight to inform continuous improvement.

Key Knowledge, Skills and  Experience:

You will be a motivated and high performing team player, with an excellent communications and engagement track record. You will have a flair for developing and developing content across a range of digital channels and your excellent attention to detail will be balanced with the ability to see and contribute to the bigger picture.
