Commercial Litigation Associate/Senior Associate – (3-8) PQE – Edinburgh (Two days per week)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a leading national, Corporate/Commercial powerhouse, from the central Edinburgh office to manage a complex, rewarding, commercial litigation caseload.
The firm has an exceptional litigation offering- covering a broad international client base covering retail, energy & utilities, shipping, construction & development, sport & leisure and IT- in the Scottish and English markets.
As an incoming Associate/Senior Associate Solicitor, you will have the opportunity and support to make a real mark within the Scottish commercial litigation market, backed by a leading Top25 UK Law Firm and established Scottish presence and offering.
The Firm & Team:
· A Top25 UK Law Firm with an international network of offices and a true, diverse, team of legal experts.
· Highly accredited commercial litigation department in both the Scottish and English legal markets.
· A leading name in the Scottish legal world- working alongside an Edinburgh based team of Senior Dispute Resolution experts.
The Role:
· Managing a broad commercial litigation caseload covering commercial disputes, professional indemnity, financial disputes, construction & energy disputes, commercial debt recovery and sports litigation.
· Pursuer and defend commercial litigation actions across both the Sheriffs Court and Court of Session- alongside a broad range of ADR measures.
· Collaborating with colleagues across the office network to deliver the best results for national/international clients.
The Candidate:
· 3-8PQE Solicitor - Scottish Qualified with a genuine interest in dispute resolution.
· Previous background within litigation- for example, commercial litigation, professional negligence, contentious construction/real estate litigation and debt recovery.
