Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Senior Solicitor-Associate (2 - 5 PQE) for our banking and funds team, based in our Glasgow office.

The successful candidate will work alongside Jonathan Heaney and our other banking and funds partners.

This role will involve working on a range of matters relating to our banking practice, including in relation to acquisition finance and real estate finance, working for a wide range of borrowers and lenders; and will involve significant exposure to internationally focussed work.

The training and opportunities for personal development in the banking and funds team are second to none so a lack of experience should not put you off. The most important qualities the candidate will have are the ability to learn, to work hard, to work as part of a busy team and to be willing to take on responsibility.

You must be pragmatic and results-focussed, and be able to work under pressure and to tight timescales as a member of our team. We are looking for candidates with a positive attitude, a focus on quality and a determination to provide a first-class service. This is a great opportunity to join a leading team in a successful, growing firm.

At Burness Paull we look for style, ambition, innovation, passion and focus. To apply for this position please send a copy of your CV and covering letter to If you would like to discuss the role in more detail, please contact Michelle Scott on 01224 261 286.
