The Role

This is an incredible opportunity to join a team which punches considerably above its weight in all aspects of its banking practice with transaction values typically falling between £20m and £500m.

This role would involve supporting two Partners - who have recently joined from leading US Firms - in developing this Firm’s presence in corporate lending, structured finance, acquisition finance and renewables financing. This team deals with all banking mandates, from large cross border syndicated transactions through to bilateral lending.

As a Senior Associate, you will continue to receive all the bespoke training required to build a successful practice and become a sector specialist, all whilst being given the opportunity to:

• Manage your own broad caseload of banking matters, and support more senior team members with larger transactions
• Participate in, and support the Partners with, business development opportunities.
• Delegate tasks to other junior team members appropriate to their job role level and skill to ensure the optimum use of available resource and utilisation.
• Supervising the work delegated to other team members as a means of developing others, adopting a supportive and coaching approach.
• Provide an excellent service to our clients by working closely with colleagues from across the UK in both the Banking team and other specialisms;

The Candidate

Applicants must have at least 3 Years’ PQE as a banking lawyer, with a solid grounding in a wide range of banking & finance matters (and must be highly familiar with LMA documentation).

Candidates can be admitted as a Solicitor in any UK jurisdiction or Ireland.
