Top tier firm with a network of offices throughout Scotland has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor to join their team based Edinburgh or Glasgow.

The firm are charting their way to become the very best in their field, empowering and rewarding their employees to ensure they have the support to deliver a continually high quality of service to their varied client based.

Our client operates their business on an agile basis reflecting the needs of our clients and their employees. Our client will agree a suitable office/homeworking arrangement with all candidates.

Key Tasks

·       To provide legal advice on personal injury and health and safety claim.

·       Conduct personal injury cases in both the ASPIC and Court of Session (acting on behalf of pursuers and defenders) and some general litigation.

·       Build and maintain long lasting client and agent relationships.

·       Manage your caseload professionally and act as a role model to others in the delivery of excellent client service.

·       Contribute to business planning process and the financial performance of your division.

·       Continuously seek to improve own performance and that of the business.

·       Promote the services of the firm to all clients, actively networking and seeing new contacts, and develop and convert your contacts into new business.

·       Be pro-active in the financial control of all your own and team matters, including accurate time recording and prompt feeing.

·       Create and manage your own database records on the firm's marketing database.

·       Organise and deliver training to meet business objectives and the firm's requirements for CPD.

·       Manager your own technical learning, and contribute to the learning of others, developing your specialist knowledge and becoming recognised, externally, as an expert in your chosen field.
