Corporate Oil & Gas Solicitor, Aberdeen, £excellent plus benefits
This firms Oil & Gas team are Chambers rated and as a result of this great reputation, continuing quality instructions and client wins, they are now looking to recruit one or more senior oil and gas lawyers. This role will give the successful candidates access to a wide range of calibre work including agreements relating to the rights to exploit oil and gas, joint operating agreements, and other commercial contracts for operational activities such as development, construction, drilling, and shipping. Clients include the major oil companies as well as a number of independent operators and international contractors, operating across the globe. They are keen to recruit a senior oil and gas lawyer, with specific sector experience in upstream transactions and/or contracts and procurement. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent drafting skills, sound legal skills and a high level of personal impact which they could use to develop and maintain relationships with top rate clients. In addition to strong technical skills, business development skills are crucial as is an ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of aspiring and talented lawyers.
